Hi everyone!

My sister is getting married in August and has read and seen minx nails and has asked if I could do minx nails for her wedding. Do you think minx nails would look nice for a wedding and if so, what ones would you recommend getting for her? I would love to do Shellac instead, but worry I won't have the pack by then.

Thank you for your help! xxx

I love Minx:D If you look on Sweet Squared, you will see all the options and I do believe there are some bridal themed ones, that are lacey themed iygwim.

Hope this helps

I would try some on her before her big day, I thought they looked really good but when I tried them I hated them.....just personal taste but I thought they looked cheap and nasty!

I love Minx apart from the bridal ones. I ordered them and was very disappointed. I also felt they look really cheap compared to all the others they do. Why not do a french with Shellac if you have it by then and do some nail art with Konad stamps. I just had a client where I did a french and put a row of white flowers just above the smile line extending into the white part of the french. It looked really pretty, feminine and just right for a wedding.

Why does it have to be bridal colours... French is always expected and in my opinion rather dull. Why not suggest using the bridesmaids colours instead, (eg blue lightening if they are in blue, or pink Paisley if they are in pinks?) it is almost expected for brides to wear French or natural, but most of my brides end up with something different and all love the result. I exhibit at a lot of wedding fairs and a huge amount of them book with me because it is a little different.

Just a thought.

i was looking on the minx website the other day and the had a lovely white lace one, i personaly LOVE minx but i wouldnt use it for my wedding day. just because i dont think it had the rite look for a wedding, i would do a classic pink and white whether it was shellac, L&P or gel then put some diamantaes on or somthing like that just classic but ibit different x

my friend had her nails done with rouge noir when it was her wedding day, she didnt want to be all white and it looked great. depending on what your sister likes, im sure she will find a minx she likes. xx

Thank you for all your replies so far!

I was actually thinking that myself, our bridesmaid dresses are a fushia pink colour so thought that would be really nice and would mix things up a bit :D was thinking minx maybe pink swirls or pink/silver swoosh hearts (cos the dresses are pink with silver strappy shoes), or a Shellac Tutti Frutti, what do you think :)

Thank you all! xxx
