Minx over Shellac then removed?

I know this sounds wierd, hear me out!

I just got my Shellac and am dying to try it out. However, there's an alternative (ie goth/punk) fair coming up, and I'd like to put some funky MINX on to parade around, and hand out a few flyers, business cards, etc. So I was wondering, if I put my Shellac on, then for the alternative fair put the MINX over the top, will I be able to remove the MINX without damaging my Shellac underneath?

I was thinking the same thing today as I have shellac on my hands but also have one highlight nail (minx) now - Minx doesnt last as long as shellac so ..chances are Ill have to run back to the Salon to get fixed up.
I suppose the only ways to find out is to try it - so thats what I am going to do next week.Let me know if you pip me to the post though !
