i have seen these and they look good however they seem really expensive, is the price for 1 set? as the cheapest i have seen is 13 pounds it just seems expensive also if anyone uses this how much do you charge a client?

I am mobile and I charge £20 per set, this includes a mini manicure or pedicure, considering that for me to buy it costs £* (nearly) I am only making £* profit on this, I can not see any point in charging less than £20, if I was salon based I would charge £25. I find them very popular people love them, if you advertise well they will sell. Mine last for anything from 3 weeks to 5-6 weeks on my toes. HTH xx

I dont quite understand your comment, when you say you have seem ones priced at £13 is that advertised by a salon or a sheet of minx to buy from somewhere?
They are a premium service which need a premium price.
I charge £25 for a Minx Manicure, £28 for a Minx Pedicure and £15 for them to be applied on there own or on top of Enhancements which is very reasonable.

If you are interested in offering this service contact S2 for all the information.

the £13 was just for a sheet of them,
ill call for more info thanks

Ok well you really need to be looking at authorized distributers of Minx which here is only S2, Ellisons and other authorised associates in London, Scotland and Bournemouth.

LOL why not? are they not the same

LOL why not? are they not the same

Because you are paying twice the price  no wonder you think theyare expensive ... how silly when S2 is on your doorstep. If you are a professional then you can walk right into the shop (with your certificate of proof of training) ..view hundreds of designs and purchase them at wholesale price rather than double the price on flea bay. How daft is it to do that? Good grief, if technicians are buying from S2 (which is the only first source of supply in the UK, they aren't going to sell them for less than they paid for them are they? They're going to double the price or more ... aren't they?

so i dont need to be cnd trained to buy from you?
if thats the case ill be there on mon lol

LOL why not? are they not the same

Seriously?!

Yes they are the same but what happened to 'Professional Use Only' products remaining that way? Would you prefer to support your distributor rather than line the pocket of some greedy person with no morals :irked:?

If you want to pay over the odds in a way that reduces the image of a product then carry on. If you want to buy the genuine article at trade price and get the support of your distributor try ringing 0845 210 6060.

Oh yes, and try making sure your insurance is valid when you're using flea bay bought items......

oh come on you are not trying to say that your insurance is not valid for shopping on ebay buying something that has been obviously bought from a wholesaler or even directly from s2

Why would you need to be cnd trained to buy Minx??? MInx are not made by CND. In fact, you can buy anything in the shop including all CND treatments and products EXCEPT for L&P or Brisa Gels (for those we like to trrain you to use them the best way they work for YOUR benefit). Conversion training is free with the purchase of a profesional kit of products. YOu CAN purchase a try me kit though and if you like what you try you can go from there. See you in the shop!!! lol

PS who told you you couldn't buy from CND?

PPs They lied to you.

i was also told on here that i couldnt do a conversion as i trained with en if i remember correctly i even phoned and was told that i had to do the full course,

You might not be able to do a conversion but it doesn't mean you cant buy CND products (apart from Brisa and L&P)

Actually, our Vetty is correct.

If you had a dispute with a client and ... it was ascertained that you were using products purchased from flea bay, your insurance would be null and void.

Not all products are what the flea bay seller tells you they are. There have been plenty of bogus CND products sold on flea bay ... liquids that are not CND but in CND bottles .. or really OLD products or even stolen goods .... believe it.

Yes I am. I run my business professionally with insurance and unlike some I actually understand what my insurance requires of me in order for it to be valid. This site deals in facts and that is what I have given you.

Thanks Gigi .

If you search on here you will find many examples of people who have bought old/fake/stolen nail products off Ebay, usually unknowingly. If that's how you want to run your business that's up to you, but it's not how I run mine.

That is CND policy as regards enhancment training and products but if you ring S2 and ask about a secondary account you will find out if, with proof of your training, you can buy prep products, enamels, tips, forms, treatments and Minx.
