Further to my earlier post, I had a bit of mare last night.

I accidentally poured some Sienna X solution 14% into an almost full bottle of LA Tan solution 12%. There was about 50ml left in the cup.

Will I have to throw this away now which obviously I don't want to do or should I try it on myself to see what the outcome is?

Hi Jackie,
I know I shouldnt say this as we always advise very strongly against mixing any solutions of the same brand, let alone different manufacturers.
BUT having said that, over the years I have heard some pretty amazing stories and if you are willing to be your own guinea pig to try it before you throw it away, why not. It also very much depends how much you poured the 50ml into?

However I would not tan a paying client with it as you just dont know how its going to turn out, patchiness, lasting and will it wear of evenly as you just dont know if the liquids will mix properly......

I know collin will probably come along in a minute and help with his endless knowledge of how the different B&Q paints mix

I wouldnt use it :confused:Im a wimp.
You could allways keep it and use it up on a friend though instead of wasting it?

Thanks Ladies

It was almost a full 1 litre bottle. I will shake it up well and try in on myself to see what happens.

Can't believe I did this.

now you know only to well that by mixing Canadian Pine and Antique oak that you get a very old looking lolly stick colour which just simply clashes with the roses when there out in full bloom
