According to research conducted by cosmetic resource The Good Surgeon Guide, an increasing number of women would be happy to undergo quick, or 'express', cosmetic enhancement treatments. Of the 1,342 women polled, 52% said they would be prepared to have a Botox session within their traditional sandwich break, with a further 42% admitting it would be an impulse decision.
Christiana Clogg, founder of The Good Surgeon Guide said: "I was shocked to discover that women would have injections in their face without researching who is carrying out the procedure. Just because these treatments are becoming more popular it shouldn't mean that people get complacent and undergo the procedure impulsively."
The figures also revealed that celebrities are the biggest drivers in the pursuit of looking good. At 72%, X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue was considered the most influential individual.
