Moulin Rouge hair styles

Ive been asked to do a hair up on saturday, and the client has asked for a "moulin rouge" style. Ive had a look on google images but nothing as popped out for me, I know it involves lots of curls but wondered if anyone could give me some ideas or any web sites where I could get some inspriration from?

the film was supposed to be set in 1899 , but the styles for then were more complicated than the film . try looking at revamp-vintage history website , its interesting if nothing else
