Hi all,

Was wondering if any Minx geeks would mind helping me.....
Bought my maxi minx kit, and my first model was my friend and she wanted the Pink Cheetah. I am EZ Flow trained so i used my sanitiser on the nails before applying the Minx, which i know a lot of people use the Scrub Fresh........can someone tell me if that is honestly the only one you'd recommend or is the one i use ok?

And then my other question is.....how long do i need to leave the minx and the toes underneath the lamp for before i can start.....it doesnt really tell you in the training manual or the video, it just kinda says 'heat under the lamp' - so i dont know if i had them under for too long, not long enough.....

All in all, id say my first minx was ok......once i got the hang of it at least, id say the second foot was probably applied better than the first foot, lol!
My friend was very happy as shes been as excited about these as i have. Now im just waiting to see how long they will last. Im doing another set in an hour, so if anyones interested, ill let you know how they go too? And if anyone again wouldnt mind, ill post the pics up? You professional Minxers can tell me if ive done anything wrong?:Scared::wink2:

Thanks xxxxxx

If you click on GROUPS above on the bar you can then join the Minx Lovers group and post your pictures there.

You can also post any Minx related questions there and read the helpful application advice that is there to assist you.

There are loads of really good photos to view from some fabby Minxers who do great work.

PS allot of people use Scrub Fresh because it is very effective for dehydrating the plate and protecting it against pathogens. It isn't mandatory to use Scrub Fresh with Minx. Use what you use and if you have no problems then carry on using it.

Minx need to be kept WARM not cooked. There is no specific time just keep them warm. Too warm and you will stretch the Minx too much as you apply them and this will cause the Minx to shrink away from the free edge ... not good.

Thanks, i have joined the group, i will post also there! Durrr Katie! lol.

Ive been researching Minx for a while now so ive seen all the great pics on there, its just when you actually get your hands on them!!!

I have done the second set today on my other friend, she had the fishnets........they looked GREAT!!! ive just found that the little toes didnt wanna stick that well, and both of my friends actually have a nail plate there unlike some people.
And i think this time i maybe left them too hot under the lamp.......ill see i guess how long they stay on for?? I will post pics soon, thank you for your advice! xxxxx

Often there can be a huge build up of cuticle on little toenails and they should be manicured very well to remove it all (when you think you've got all the cuticle away, then do it again ... it seems to go on forever sometimes!

You will meet various challenges with Minx on certain nails but they say after 15-20 sets you will have it all down pretty well. Glad your clients were happy.

Where are you located in Spain???

Thanks again, ill remember that for the little toes. The minx can be fiddly but even more so on such a small area. I have been remembering to pull tightly on them as they are placed down though but theres more area to pull than there is on the nail! But like you said after about 15-20 sets i should hopefully have it down!

Im in Malaga area, place called Nerja - opposite from Puerto Banus side! Costa del Sol, although you wouldnt think that if you've been here for the last few months!
Hows the Costa Blanca treating you? How long have you been there?
