My new add, opinions please?

My new banner add went on yesterday (its down the side ) what do you think ? dose it need to be changed or tweaked ,
It is hear on the health and beauty section and on the wedding section,
Can you give me you honest opinions please as I pretty much let the designers do what they wanted as my mind went blank lol

Is that the animated box on the right hand side of the page for Shellac nails?

To my eyes, they've made the background too dark; it's quite hard to make out that it's of one of the Shellac advertising images with some bottles of Shellac nail colour, so in my opinion it's not making best use of getting the product across visually.

I'd have been inclined to use the "CND Shellac" image (with the photo of a nail and the words "CND Shellac" under it) as one of the images in the animation on its own, without additional text - and then have had additional images also, but where the text was separate to the images (e.g. above or below the images) rather than being super-imposed on a much darkened version of the image...

Since a picture speaks a thousand words, I thought I'd spend a few minutes messing around in Paint Shop Pro...

That's the general idea of what I would have wanted if I were in your shoes anyway... you may prefer yours

Seriously though, I'd have thought they would have come up with something more colourful though, which showed off the products better - after all, colour is one of the most important things when it comes to nails... you don't want to tone down the colours behind a dark grey background

It dose look so much better !

After all one of the best things about shellac IS the color intensity !
Ive been working hard on another project ....I'm very one minded some times and get brain freeze on everything else lol
