Hi there:
I am studying VCTC Level 2 Beauty therapy with a private training academy along with a few short courses-one of which was nail art and the other gel polish (using NSI Polish Pro).
I really enjoyed the nail art and took to it quite well so have ordered from amazon some dotting tools, fine brushes, acrylic paints, transfers etc...
I would like to start to offer nail art along side manicures and also gel polish. However, I cannot remember at which stage the tutor said to apply the nail art.
If I were incorporating with gel polish, would I add it into the tacky layer after the second colour coat and then paint over the clear top coat and cure?
Secondly If applying with normal polish, would I wait for the second coat of colour to dry and then apply the nail art and then a top coat (although what concerns me about this is drying time and the colours running into each other if not completely dry?)
