nail art and polish protection

Hey there Kathy W,
Its your fellow aussie geek here!!! I just did some art on my fingers then, and i finished them with Brisa UV Finishing Gloss. I find it fantabulous. If i finish my nail art with just clear polish (like i used to) it gets wrecked next time i do someones nails...all the fibres from removing their polish gets stuck to my nails!!!!

I wondered this too... Sure I posted a thread but got no answer so thanks for that Bec.
I have my Brisa kit but not used it yet, waiting til my Creative FDFC, which is VERY good of me methinks!! However, as this means I know nothing, could you tell me, does the UV top coat need to be cured, and if so, for how long? Also, does it need to be buffed off?
