Hi,

I have a wedding coming up and have been asked to do the brides nails. I have been searching the web for design ideas so I can put together a wedding board to show other prospective brides and have seen a thin glitter line along the smikle line on many occasions. I have previously tried this but could only manage a broader line. Any ideas on the thin line and getting it perfectly straight?

how about trying a liner brush ,this brush is similar to a striping brush but shorter and a little wider. Its an ideal brush for producing straight lines.hth

I have read somewhere about people using gel pens to do lines on the smiles,
So Maybe a silver one or something would be nice,

Hopefully someone on her has tried it and can comment on the best way to do it, as I have never had a go myself, and am not too sure whether it could be done safely under the acrylic etc...
Or try using a REALLY fine glitter powder.

Hun I have just presumed you will be using acrylic here lol can you let us know whether you will or will you just be doing nail art on natural nails ?

Hi Guys,

She has not decided whether she is having acrylic or gel but will but creating the art with extensions rather than her natural nail. Will look out for the fine glitter powder or pen and try that. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

I have achieved this look using a glitter striper as long as you don't put too much pressure on the brush and use the tip of the brush it will come out very fine. best to have a little practice with it first. hth

spangles do a nice silver glitter striper and you can acheive a fine line with this if you dont apply too much pressure,,its thick and gloopy though but lasts for ages too :)
