Nail art & Shellac question

Sorry if this has been asked before, but can ordinary nail Polish, or vinylux be used to do art on cured shellac, and then top coated with shellac top coat?

Only asking as I don't have that many colours in shellac yet, and I want a yellow and a green to do some flowers and start practising my Xmas art

yes and yes i apply the shellac top coat twice and they always last well on all my clients I also use acrylic paints again top coat twice and i've never had any problems x
