Nail Art - Using A Picture

Hi,

I watched one of the tutorials that was in russian in the tutorial section of this site.

I tried to use a picture on my nail art but it didn't work as the paper went transparent and you could see the reverse side.

Was wondering if anyone knew what the picture was saturated in? Is it just water?

perhaps it would be better to photo copy the image first onto a sheet of blank paper so that theres nothing on the reverse.
