Hi guys

I have been on three nail providers training courses and have never been told or shown how to do a proper nail biter ie the type that have bulbus ends etc. I was wondering if there is any examples on here or one line as how best to do them. I had a client in today who had really short nails however had bit them for that long that the end was quite bulbus and I wouldnt have been able to attach a tip to the nail with out it not fitting right, so i ended up turning her away. I wasnt happy about this and wondered if anyone could help

I think there's a tutorial on here somewhere, which recommends 'Saddling' the tips in order to fit them over the bulbous skin. Not sure quite how you do this <either with a file or scissors> so hopefully we can find out on this thread. :)

I find it so much easier to sculpt nail biters. Although if I had to tip one I too prob wud have probs. Soz if this does not help.

I suppose it depends on how far you have gone with your education as to whether or not you have done a class on nail makeovers. CND certainly provide one as part of the Master Classes.

It's hard enough teaching new students how to do nail enhancements on nice nails never mind trying to teach them how to do the types of problem nails that require all ones skills to make a good job of it. Those sorts of classes come further on down the line. One good reason why education is progressive and classes should be ongoing.
