Nail foil help

Hi
I'm trying to get the foil to go on the nail. I wait for the adhesive to go clear, but the foil won't stick. What am I doing wrong?

1) have you checked you are using the right side? It sounds daft but some of the holographic foils can look the same both sides - I have discovered this!!

2) wipe the back of the foil with IPA to remove the 'matt' film across the back, it will help with adhering.

3) Some foil glues are not great, they're just PVA which can be too sticky and just pull off the polish - I have also discovered this!!

Try using a cured layer of your gel polish base layer instead of a foil glue

Ok thanks guys, I will try this. Surely it cant be this hard. Hahaha
