Hi Guys,
I am soon to start my creative 5day foundation course, so am only just starting up. As its my birthday soon, one of my presents from my partner is going to be all my nail varnishes (boring I know). I want to use good products, creative, opi etc but do not know which is best and is good value for money? Also I will be buying quite a few so if anybody knows where I could get them in bulk cheaper that would be fantastic. Was just wondering how many polishes to buy,20,30,40 etc? Also, I will be working mobile so could do with something that you can buy matching cases for. I know creative do a carry case which holds about 24 which looks quite appealing.
All advise appreciated.
Thankyou xx

Personally I would wait until your Foundation Course, that way you'll be able to buy trade price and also be advised which colours are selling the fastest and which ones are the 'old faves' :wink2:

That makes lotsa sense, think I will do. Just wondered what everybody else uses and why? x

personally i love opi!
i have used creative and opi and have found opi dry so much quicker and last longer, i also found creative went gloopy quite quick.
i have spoke to other techs that also agreed, but i think its done to personal preference!
maybe try them yourself....
as for cases you can get them at the shows for great prices or in one of the beauty supply trade catalogues, they may be dearer off of the big brands xx

As a self confessed nail art junkie:green: I have to say that out of all my polishes I love my creative ones the best. They never thicken, or go gloopy, the last application is as good as the first, I usually find I don't need more then one coat so find them very cost affective and the colours are spectacular.
Wait as Valencia said until you can open your trade account and then buy what is recommended to you, not forgetting to get some for retail.

The following is not a personal dig at anyone.

I have a real bug bear about buying from............non official places.
Its been a while since I've aired this so think its worth while my doing so again.
Companies like creative plow a lot of there profit back in to research and development.
If you don't buy from the official source, weather that is opi or nsi or cnd etc then these companies will cease to trade and that means that we will be the ones who will loose out because we will no longer have cutting edge products to delight our customers with.
Also unless you buy from official sources you have no proof that what you are buying is the real deal, so please ladies for all of these reasons don't be tempted

I just got my creative catalogue and they sell a case that holds your nails polishes. I think it holds twenty... My plan is to buy the case and fill it. But from my research alot of people now go with the french manicure so a hugh stock of nail polish would not be as needed. I also think the creative prices are very good. Have not checked out the OPI.

Good luck with your course, I start mine July 5th very excited!!!

thank you Susie :):)

I have all the OPI lacquers lol (distributing them...) so I'm glad to read good comments :):)

more seriously, I'd also suggest you to wait AND if you go mobile and in the very beginning you don't need 40 polished.. go for classic colors, red, purple, brown, black, white, and a bunch of soft shades, and glitter/effect top coats, and you'll be fine to start ;);)

Thanks for that people, some really good suggestions. Also thanks doorie for a few colour suggestions, just what I needed. xx

I agree. And believe me, I am sure anyone on here will agree that it isnt boring! I would love a present like that. x
