Nail Varnish matt v shimmer v glitter

Hi

Again I have looked at a couple of threads and they are suggesting that as a start up I should be looking at just purchasing a couple of different shades of each colour, ie reds, browns,pinks,purples.

I personally like cremes/matts but obviously my future clients may/will prefer shimmers and glitters.

whats a general ratio of matts to glitters to shimmers ????

Hi,

Everyones taste is different. I find that in my salon, shimmers are more popular to matt or glitters. The younger crowd tend to go for the glitters, and brighter colours...

For example, if I was choosing a red polish I would buy a bright red, a shimmery red, a matt red and a deeper red, and do this for every colour...it worked for me doing it this way!
