Kinetics at London and Paris Fashion Weeks 2010

Team Kinetics UK Takes London Fashion Week by Storm

Every new London Fashion Week seems to bring more attention to the Kinetics UK team! This year was no exception, as Kinetics representatives worked long, hard, and rewarding hours at the House of Holland, Vivienne Westwood Red Label, Marios Schwab, Nicole Farhi, Roksanda Illincic and Unique Top Shop Shows.
This was the first time at LFW for Kinetics’ Instructor Zoltan Toth-Pallos. “It was a fantastic experience but it was hard,” he reported after his big day at House of Holland. “There is huge pressure to get finished on time but still do a perfect job. However, I enjoyed the excitement of the job.” Margarita Belska, Kinetics’ UK ambassador and International Educator, had been to LFW several times before, but the thrill of the shows never loses its appeal. Team members Catherine Taylor, Olga Semjonova, Kinga Lukazewska, and Sanita Martinkena worked alongside her for hours in contortionist poses to paint models’ nails according to the designers’ specifications. Kinetics also sponsored Sophy Robson.
Our team members couldn’t help but be noticed by the media: Zoltan and Sophy were the subjects of feature interviews on several blogs and online and print magazines. And here’s what The Vogue Beauty Blog had to say: “Check out Margarita Belska (the UK ambassador for Kinetics) and her spectacular “one stroke painting” nails. We have one word: Phenomenal!”
Kinetics products made appearances all over London Fashion Week, showing off the versatility of the line. At Marios Schwab, Team Kinetics used Darkside polish to create an industrial look, while over at Vivienne Westwood, a softer look was created using Silk & Satin from the Pure Elegance polish collection and Matte One Night from the new spring 2010 line, Change It Up! Henry Holland’s favorite slogans, CTFO (Chill the F*** Out) and NALGO (Not a Lot Going On), were placed on nail tips in a variation on the French style. Last but not least, the Happy Hippo buffing block paid a visit to Nicole Farhi to add an extra shine to models’ manicures.
As always, we at Kinetics are inspired by our UK team’s energy and talent. Thanks to these stellar professionals, London Fashion Week and Kinetics are becoming a real item! We can’t wait to see what next year’s show brings.
