Hi, I was wondering if any of you have dne your acrylic course through nailzone in glasgows city ctr?? I was considern them 2 ma course as its 350 n a 2 day course...was jst wondering how gd it was, thanks 4 ur help xxxx

Honestly speaking, I've never be trained by them but I saw their extension on one of my clients who came to see me.

I could only say... don't go...

I think that most of the experts would agree that 2 days is not long enough to fit everything in that you need to learn.

You may find it useful to read this thread

Also do a search for " courses glasgow" there have been lots of threads, a couple recently asking about courses around here.

The 3 that spring to mind which have a good reputation are:

Fingertips Centre, Newbridge 0131 3333180. CND training for Scotland, a fantastic team of people with fantastic education and customer service....they are always on the other end of the phone.

NSI ...... their training is at Hillington

Young Nails have an Educator in Grangemouth....if you Google young nails Scotland, I'm sure she'll come up.

The other alternative is to start looking around at what P/T college courses are due to start in August. Some colleges have their prospectuses ready, I picked one up at Clydebank last night.

HTH, Lou x

I would recommend NSI in Hillington for training in acrylic or gel.

Hi there

I asked about nailzone in another thread too as i'm looking for a good nail course to get me started but also one that takes ILA,ive not heard anything good about nailzone so far and thats not just on here, after listening to other geeks advice and days and days of thinking of nothing else:Scared: i think i'm going to go with NSI in Glasgow, just need to wait for my ILA to come thru

Just to say that Tracey from Young Nails is in the process of moving, and is going to Austrailia and so untill a new educator has been sorted out I am not sure what will be happening for the scottish Young Nails education, sure they are on to it as we speak though x ruth
