Hey ya,

I have trained in sculptured nails, and have not used tips, i have a couple of clients who want a really natural look from their enhancements, no white or colour. i use NSI attraction any ideas on how i can create this look? i have tried pink all the way then paint but think she is really looking for a subtle looking tip. any ideas appreciated

thanks

try custom blending a natural looking powder by mixing some clear or sheer pink with your soft white until you get a natural tip look to it. Sculpt your natural tip and overlay in sheer pink. You can test your colour on a clear sculpting form until you get it right.

I've just done something similar.. worked well.

I did some very natural looking free edge nails last week (didn't take a pic though), I used Gigi's recipe which is 2 x Soft White, 1 x Flawless Pink and a touch of Yellow. I replaced the Flawless with Neutral Opaque Pink and added a bit more Soft White to get the colour I wanted. My client was over the moon with them and actually said that they were the best nails I'd ever done on her!!!
I used Neutral Opaque Pink in zones 2 and 3 for a fab coverage.

You have Pink Masque (opaque) with NSI don't you? You should be able to mix a natural looking free edge powder, but don't forget the touch of yellow, it takes the edge off the white.

I would use natural tips, soft white and a custom blend on zones 2 & 3... mine are like that now and look gorgeous! :!:

i made up a big batch using clear, soft white, and yellow (just a tad of yellow tho) and when clients want the natural nail "colour" i put some of my batch mix into a dappen dish, then tweek it with either, more yellow, or soft white or what ever to get the match. i too had a client in last week with awsome natural nails, but had broken 3 of them, and was going to a wedding, but didnt want any colours etc, so i repaired her 3 broken nails with my mix, it was that good, SHE couldnt tell which ones had been repaired, and neither could the other therapists in the salon.

its all a matter of trial and error with this type of service flower, you have to keep practising at it - you will get there in the end flower

xx
