Hi Everyone!

I am a new student to Creative (started in May 2003) and i am due to start in a hairdressers in 2 weeks.

I have applied gel nails to a few clients and they are just coming off so easily, i believe i am doing everything right but obviuosly not! Has anyone got any tips to help?

Thank you

Cazz

Make sure you scrupulously do your Creative PREP.

Then apply your first thin coat of Faze one component gel to a perfectly dry nailplate.. Work the gel onto the nail surface - do not just apply like polish. Work it this way and that and then finish off like polish.

Cure for a full 2 minutes under the UV lamp.

2nd coat is your builder coat. Apply in the normal way.

Cure under the lamp for a full 2 minutes.

Wipe off the dispersion layer and buff to shape and smoothness.

Add a final thin coat of Faze gel and cure for a full 2 minutes.

Wipe off dispersion layer and finish with two (always 2) coats of Faze 2. Faze 2 does not need to be cured under the UV light.

You should not be having any problems with Faze gel "coming off easily". Faze is a strong durable gel and if it is coming off then it was never on in the first place.

Thanks alot i think it was the first application where i was going wrong.

Cheers

Caz
