A new awards ceremony is calling on individuals working in beauty, nails and spa to enter its search for talented professionals. The first BABTAC/CIBTAC Awards, which aims to recognise and reward skilled therapists in seven categories, will be held at Londons prestigious Kensington Roof Gardens on 7 June 2010.
"We are delighted to be able to give our members and our industry the recognition they deserve," says BABTAC chairman, Angela Bartlett. To mark its debut, the event is opening up two categories - CIBTAC Body Artist of the Year and Spa Therapist of the Year - to non-members.

- BABTAC Holistic Therapist of the Year, open to all BABTAC complementary and holistic therapists
- BABTAC Nail Technician of the Year, open to all BABTAC beauty therapists and nail technicians
- CIBTAC Tutor of the Year, open to all tutors in the UK and international CIBTAC schools
- CIBTAC Student of the Year, open to all students currently studying in 2010 in UK and international CIBTAC schools
- CIBTAC Body Artist of the Year, open to all UK therapists, make-up artists and students
- Spa Therapist of the Year, open to all spa therapists currently working in a UK spa
