2 questions for all you nail techs out there. 1) where can i purchase a led uv curing lamp?
2) i have recently tried shellac and gelac. can anyone let me know which gel coulur is the best and why? Thanks

Nail Harmony do an LED lamp for their Gelish range and Jessica do an LED lamp for their Geleration range. However, you can't guarantee that a lamp will cure just any gel. You have to buy the right lamp for your range, and there may not be an LED lamp available just yet. LED lamps only cure ranges that are forumulated to be cured by LED - hope that makes sense.

Shellac isn't really a gel, it's a hybrid gel/polish. If you do a search on here you will be able to find out more about Shellac and there is a current post giving more information.

Nobody can tell you what is best for you. Why don't you have a look at all the information, and see what you think. There may then be specific questions that you need answered. Something else you could do is see if there is a salon near you that offers specialising in either of these. That way, you would be able to try them and talk to someone who actually uses them.
