hi all,

i have just started using nobility after a long while with calgel, first go with it was great, but am now having probs with free edge lifting, i have also had one just peal off all in one bit !!! my prep is the same as calgel and i an working the first layer in to the nat nail.

any tips anyone, i really want this gel to work

Hi hun, are you capping the free edge properly? and not filing it of again when you do a final tidy of the nails?
I dont know about the gel peeling off in one bit, unless the client has really oily nail beds.?.
Are you doing nno's with it or tips? x

hi, i an trying them on my nails at the mo, not got oily nail plates, i refined and shaped using a file fro under the nail so the gel is longer than the nat nail, if that makes sense ! ( this what i did with calgel ) then went over with a thin capping layer ?

Is/are your UV lamp/bulbs strong enough to cure Nobility gel?

Are you sure your UV bulbs don't need replacing?

Did you remove the shine from the tips?

Are you positive that all oils were removed from the nailplate prior to application?

hi

hi, it was a nno, i am using 2 brand new clagel 36 watt lamps, and def gave nails a good scrub with the nobility sanatizer/gel cleanser ???

Did you cap the gel on the free edge and exposed sidewalls without filing it off when finishing?

after i did a refine and shape, using my file at a 90 degree angle i did another clear capping layer ???

hmmm, spooky.
sounds like you are doing it right.
one thing i find helps is doing 2 nails at a time.
i never have any problems, i'm sure you'll over come your difficulties.
