Non-ending acne and red mark

Hey anybody out there can tell me a solution regarding my skin problem...
I have used quite a number of products but none of them help....
These include lancome, cellnique, kose and (currently using) shiseido....
And i even went to dermatologist and still of no help........ does it mean that there is no hope for my face d????
initially shiseido helps a little.But after the promoter told me the quantity of mosturiser that i've been using wasn't sufficient and my skin is really very dry, i started to use the supposed quantity and it turned out more breakout......... What am i suppose to do now!!!!
i have severe acne.... unlike others, mine are not big pimples but small, RED, WHITEHEADS AND BLACKHEADS........ yeah, my whiteheads and blackheads are red...... they are mostly found on my cheeks and forehead (whole face practically:cry. And the most exasperating thing is they are red!!!!
and i think i have a sensitive skin because my skin is red all the time..... and the scars that are left over are also red too:cry:...... i really have no idea how to get rid of them.........
oh i am allergic to cucumber and aloe vera....

Unfortunately it may mean that you will have to have antibiotics or hormone pill to get relief from the spots in the first instance and then the scarring and discolouration could be treated with maybe dermabrasion.
Dont just go to one doctor and one dermatologist there is help out there but its finding it.Try to get someone on recommendation.

I tried a "photo facial" in usa but i thinks skin might do them. they cleared my acne up in 4 treatments. it uses ipl laser light (or something like that)

Have you tried Accutane? I have suffered from acne since I was a teenager. I found some skin care lines that helped control it a bit, but not enough. My doctor finally put me on Accutane and it has done wonders!

I would go back to your dermatologist or look for another one and work with them. They can get a skin test done to check what type of bacteria is present on your skin and prescribe a suitable anti-biotic, picking one without a skin test is just trial and error.

If it is hormonal acne you can get a blood test to check if there are underlying problems.

Have you looked at your diet/nutrition? some people who have severe acne have deficiencies in Vitamin A and Zinc.

I am not a skin geek - but can sympathise with you as I used to have severe acne. The only thing that worked for me was Proactive. I used it for 10 years and it really made a difference. It has benzoyl peroxide in it which lightened up my acne scars. I stopped using it a few years ago as my body chemistry changed and it quit working. I started using Neostrata and that is doing a wonderful job as well - it has glycolic acid in it and I have no acne issues or visible scars anymore. I also have very, very dry skin and the only foundation I found that works for me is Elizabeth Arden - it is made for dry skin and I get no breakouts from it. I had a small breakout the first 2-3 days after I started with it - but It has been a few weeks now and my skin is glowing - it also has fantastic coverage and is very light weight - so I don't feel like I am wearing a mask.
