I have got my Masters certificate with CND for acrylic but would now like to move on to something new, i want to do gel and creative would usually be my first choice but there is a NSI training place nearer, not sure which one to go for, anyone got any experience of both:confused:

I would be inclined to stick with Creative I have used both gels and would say imo that Brisa is better.

I've used both and it's Brisa all the way for me
Brisa does what it's told

I really feel strongley about this whole 'distance thing' with regards to education...if you want the best it's WORTH the extra few miles

Many places might be nearer but in these financial times, wouldn't you like to get the best for your money both product wise and education wise? Doesn't it make more sense to stick with the supplier who you already know and trust? Pay one lot of postage? Partner with your supplier for your success? Just a little food for thought.

Thanks for speedy responces, of course you are all right, stick with creative, have dealt with them now for 8 years, why do i need to change!will be on the phone to Katrina in Plymouth tommorow!!:)

I prefere CND Brisas. I tried both. Both are gourgeous looking, but Brisa is more friendly for use. Amazing how to sculpt 5 nails, and they dont flowing out, and the smile lines are beautiful. You can go as higher as you want like in a competiton. You can work fast, and you dont use too much product, just as much as you need. So you can save money and time with Brisa. Good choice.

I'm just looking at the brisa gels and i'm a little confuddled. I currently use NSI brush on french white which tends to run and i spend quite a bit of time try ing to 'tame' it before i cure (i do one finger/toe at a time). I bought their sculpting gel to try and it's really very thick and for me inpossible to use.
Now then brisa has a sculpting gel, is it as thick as NSI's? Does any one use the brisa white gel paint, whats it like?
If i'm going to spend MORE money trying brisa wot do you expert geeks advice me to spend my money on?
Thanks in advance coz i know your all brill.

Like I said 'brisa does what it'told'
I use the paint on white, mainly for toes but I also use it for clients that have a natural l&p and want a french that will see them through 2 -3 weeks and then a change back to natural at their next appointment.(so easy to buff away at the next rebal)
It is, naturally, a bit runnier than the other white but I don't have a problem with it. I tend to do a cpl of nails then freeze them for 10seconds befor moving on to the next.

If you do the Brisa Conversion class you will get a kit with everything in it you need for Brisa. It would be silly to buy it without a conversion class TBH.

Brisa Paint on White is of course the same consistency as a paint which is why it is so easy to use. One or two thin coats is all that is necessary and then it wont run.

Having used both I can say that NSI's is not in the running against Brisa. I admit that I havent tried NSI in a while so ignore if they have updated the balance.
Brisa has a bond so strong it is def the best gel I have ever used, once you understand it has slightly a different working you are on your way. For me Brisa is not good in cold climates so I know to gently warm it before use or in morning. I can make fabulous smile with scuplting white and I'm new to POW as in general I'm not great with polish. I use LESS product with Brisa and have BETTER results. it is the EASIEST gel to file and less product = less mess

I would however rec the training day.
