I was reading through the threads about acryl lifting from the nail and i was wondering. Can you get lifting if you use an old product?

Not that I know of unless your liquid is contaminated in any way. Lifting is down to prep and application including ratio. I personally spend a lot more time prepping the nail than I do on application and since realising this have had no lifting at all. When you first begin you don't believe that someone can have no lifting and I certainly never thought I could ever achieve it as I thought I was doing everything I could. What I wasn't doing is seeing the job of prepping the nail as a complete job in itself. Pay particular attention around the side walls and cuticle area and make sure you blend into these areas so as not to apply too thickly, which again will cause lifting. It is just practice and experience and listening to the good advice you will get on here from so many talented techs! :)
