Im starting new salon, not sure if you go with OPI which i trained with or Orly, which isnt far off on price and quality?

Also i was thinking to run the nail and foot treatments on some other cost effective and result driven brand? But just use OPI or Orly as the nail vanish range? Firstly can this work, and are there any suggestions?

Can i get some advise from you professionals out there?

Many, many thanks as im very new to all this and your advise would be greatly appreciated!!

x:suprised:

of those 2 i find that opi gives slightly better coverage but both are good quality.
consumers also know the name of opi very well as its often in the press and this may give you more demand if you would like to retail polishes to clients too.

not sure if orly have mani + pedi products but i believe opi do. in my opinion its not 100 percent neccessary to match polish range to product range used for these treatments. what is important are that they are effective products that are pleasurable for the client experience. the techniques you use are what gives most of the effect during these treatments and clients will remember most the massage and the quality/longevity of the polish job as well as the effectiveness of the hard skin treatment during a pedi.

My therapists use OPI polishes and mani/pedi products by CND. By far the most favoured by clients is the citrus spa pedicure treatment with cooling masque. A real treat.

thanks for your comments guys,

Realy appreciated. I will look into CND for the treatment range...

Hi there, My clients love OPI and certainly the polishes are wonderful. Itried a few ranges and OPI was the winner hands down

I have just started using both OPI and Orly and love them both. I went with both because individually they didn't tick all my boxes.

I use CND Spa products for my manicures and pedicures - they are fab!:D
