Last week I did a set of acrylics on my friend and I wasn't happy with them. It really knocked my confidence for my assessment in a few weeks, I've been practicing on the nail trainer hand but don't find the same (ordered the practice fingers and fingers crossed they're Slighlty better as due to work having people to practice on is difficult)

So tonight I tried it on myself, just on finger now and I'm kinda happy with the result.

My 1st time on myself and 2nd real hand

This looks very good for a trainee! On the second picture not sure if it was the light etc but looks like there is a gap on the other cuticle/side wall edge. Make sure you build a nice strong apex too (couldn't see well enough on the pic), as this will give it strength and a beautiful elegant shape.
Bit late in the day but good luck and hope it went well.
