i have just had a lady ask what treatments she could have done during recovering from serious back probs she is on major painkillers and anti depressants, but feels really down i know massage is out of question but could i get away with lash tinting, brow shaping manicures ect any ideas girls x

I wouldnt recomend giving her any treatments that involve her laying on her back as this happened to me and my client couldnt get back up! I would stick to manicures, possilbly pedicures depending on how comfortable your client thinks she is going to be as you dont want to put any strain on her back. She may be ok with a cushion.
You would get away with brow shaping with tweezers whilst client is sitting down

Im sure a nice manicure would be fine or any eye and facial treatments. Just as long as there are no contra indications with regards to her madication etc. also make sure she is ok with laying on bed for treatment or sitting down for any period of time due to her back problems x x

is anyone up on how i'm covered with insurance, shes on morphine so really cautious, i think she would love toe nails doing poor thing

As far as insurance goes that would very much depend on your own insurance company. You could always give them a ring and see what they advise.

i'm with the guild they seem quite strict!

Lol! If they are, then they are. You will just have to go with what they say in the end.

Why don't you get her to speak to her GP, or hospital specialist if she's under one. You'll probably need to get a cover letter from the doctor. You should be covered by your insurance if you have a letter, and obviously use your common sense :), but as has been said, check with your insurance company too.
