Hi,

I'm looking for advice from the L'Oréal geeks. Would you say that a majirel 8.04 would take this blonde to the pale copper of the other photo? I'm coloring my own hair and just want to make triple sure before I do. My natural base is an 8 and I currently have full head bleach highlights.

If you were my client I would colour all the lenghts and ends with dialight 3/4 8.34 + 1/4 7.43 +6vol. That would act as a precolour and I think that would already look great as a base for the softer tone.

Then I would shampoo & dry and colour the roots with inoa 8.04 + 8.40 + 20vol and pull though some pieces to the ends so there are some more vibrant pieces like it is the picture.

If I had to use majirel I would use 8.04 + 1/4 copper mix tone. I think 8.04 is too soft on its own, and and some of the warmth will be lost on the prelighten hair if applied directy.

Thanks so much for this, I might hold fire and do some more research on inoa if that would give a better result. My college doesn't use it but their salons do so I might be able to get some advice from there. I'd definitely rather study up for the better result. :)
