When you preform a lux paraffin Wax manicure how do you dehydrate the nail plate so that your polish lasts as long as it normally would I had one in on Monday and have just had a txt off her to say its chipped (the french bit) I squeak the plate only with polish remover which is what I have been shown.

I always use CND's Scrubfresh before my Stickey basecoat. HTH!

Polish remover may be oily, therefore not providing the best base, but to be honest many could chip polish in 5 days. You cannot account for what your client does with their hands once they have left you, without due care 5 days isn't bad IMO.

This is what I use too.

I agree 5 days isnt bad for a french polish finish.

It just depends on the client, I've a really good one and she last 7-10 days max with hers. I dont think she does anything and if she did she'd always wear gloves!

I'd say the average is 5 days tho.
