Things go wrong, that's life
I had my salon electricals pat tested, 2 days later a hairdryer went pop with a lot of smoke coming out of it, this despite being pat tested and green stickered saying so, 2 days previously, so why wasn't a fault picked up?
This is when I looked into pat testing and found out you didn't need it by law, A year later same company phoned up and said I was due a renewal, I politely declined, and put the phone down, they then phoned back and went into scare tactics, to which I said I was going to send them a bill for a refund as they acted wrongly last year saying it was the law when it isn't, I am a 3 employee salon, (not that that makes a difference). They soon put the phone down and, strangely, didn't phone back!
Moral is. Things go wrong, pat tested or not.
