I'd just like to mention Paul Newman. What a fine man and actor he was.
he was able to live a decent and dignified life, which so many actors can't and with his fame he did so much good.
One of my favourite films is Cat on a hot tin roof which he starred in with Elizabeth Taylor They had these amazing sexually charged scenes with no sex taking place.I don't think they even kissed they were just fantastic actors.

I hadn't heard he had died, he was an amazing actor, I cant think of a bad film he made.
Oh and those twinkly eyes, even in old age the man still had something about him.

Oh that's sad. Lovely man. xxx

I was so upset, on the news they showed clips of Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid - he was so attractive, those eyes and a face that was full of fun.

He raised $100 million from his food products which all went to charity and also ran the 'Hole in the wall' camp for terminal children.

A true legend all round

I just heard he died, and am deeply saddened that such a good actor and truelly remarkable person (all the work he did for charities in the hope he could make the world a better place) has left the world.

This is really sad, he has done so much to entertain us on screen but there was so much more to him.

As a family we have been on the receiving end of his charitable works. In the states children with blood disorders can attend his camps annually and some children from the UK with cancer and leukaemia get invited once. My daughter Rachel went to his 'Hole in the Wall Camp', Conneticut in 2000 where she got to do so many wonderful activities and met some great people. Rachel passed away in March 2001 and we have an album of photos with diary enteries of her time at his camp.

All the profit from his foods fund the camp so when you're looking for some marinades in the supermarket look for his and know that you are helping children with life threatening illnesses. The brand has given $250 million dollors so far to this charity.

The good all go to Heaven you know, I'm sure Rachel will tell him what a lovely time she had in Conneticut. Inturn I am sure such a caring person as Paul Newman will look after her for you.

Paul Newman was such an amazing Man in all he done for the World and its little Children. The Sky has gained its brightest Star but by hell the World has a massive void this Weekend.
