hi

Ive just changed to cnd and performance tips if done three sets now and with in a couple of hours they have been back to say one or twos poped off. I was wondering if im not giving enough contact on the tips to the nail? how much should i allow?

how are they for size on the nail?
I mean is the C curve a good match or are you flattening the tip out as your sticking it?

they seem to be fitting the C curve ok

What Adhesive are you using? Also what are you doing in the time just before there are coming off?strange I know but Is there water involved ?

Hi Im currently using the CND gel bond as they dont have speed bond in stock.

the extensions arnt on me there on paying customers so cant garuntee what there doing but with them all having same problem i think i must be doing something which made me think am i not putting enough contact area on the tip or am i just rubbish lol

Just a suggestion but maybe you are not using enough adhesive and holding the nail down til it is definately stuck properly. Also maybe you are not applying enough product on the top. Sometimes although performance tips dont need any blending, I have been told they are stronger if you do blend a little. Sometimes not evetyone can wear the same products, so maybe your clients just dont get on with gelbond. Have you tried the NSI Polybond, thats is very thin and really great. Hope that helps. Abi

If you're having issues with the tips coming off it could be that you need to build more strength into your apexes.
Also, look at the length of the nails and the lifestyle of the clients who are experiencing this problem.

I find you need to be a bit cautious with well-less tips, not to lose your lower arch and if you do, it can lessen the contact area strength, and result in tips popping off.

Ensure you fit it correctly from all angles, inluding thoroughly checking your side view.
