Your hobby will serve you well for the journey you are about to take. Dealing with hecklers on stage will be a good grounding for helping you deal with any ungrateful or egotistical staff when you get around to employing them. LOL

I really am looking forward to following your journey. The highs, the lows and the transformation from expert colourist into expert business owner.

Just so everyone knows, it's not because I want to keep the name private, but if post it here publicly (the name or the link) Google will show my posts in their search results when customers Google for our salons. Imagine my embarrassment if a customer came in and said "I saw you chatting away on a website last night asking for advice on how to do my colour ... and you called me a moaner! Well thanks for that. You can cancel my appointment please!".

Not a good idea to link your salon or business name from a forum you want to talk freely on about your customers, services, prices and other things.

I done this I put my salon name and a picture of inside my salon on my profile and would never have realised until blue rinse pm me and told me otherwise I would have been none the wiser. Xxx

Hiya Phil! How's you? Nah, it's not my new online home but it's a good place to just kick off my shoes and relax. It seems as if I own and run everything in my life. I even took up dog training as a new hobby to relax and within 12 months ended up as Chairman of the bloody club (a role that was pressed upon me). I'm running out of hobbies that I don't end up either owning or managing. LOL. My New Year's Resolution was to avoid adding any other roles of responsibility to my list and so far I seem to be managing it (apart from a short blip where I almost opened a beauty salon to add to my portfolio).

Haven't seen you posting on Facebook for a while. How's the salon going?

the salon is going fine, I was actually looking for some pics i took to share in this post, but don't know where i put them.
I have purchased a new house which has a unit on the block and may end up moving it there. I am over stressing about staff and Dom says I don't need to work any more.
