pointed nails

I usually wear my nails square and on an odd occasion I wear them round. I was at the Professional beauty show and saw them being worn really long and pointed.

I am going my hoildays on sunday and would like to wear them like this but I cannot remember if the point started at the free edge and taped in towards the anil or if it was just at the very tip of the nail.

can any one advise.
