Hey

Quick question I go away later (whoop) but I'm only taking hand luggage can I take nail polish on the plane??? Its ryanair if that helps

xx

Hi,

I don't think you can. I gave a friend a couple of bottles to take with her when she went away on holiday last year, and when she returned, told me that they were taken off her at the airport (they were my creative ones so I was a bit gutted).

I'm not sure if this has changed now, but if you're unsure you should check with the airport/airline first. HTH.

I thought it would be ok as long as you put them in a clear bag. I had to put my lip gloss in a clear bag in my hand bag at terminal 5 April 08.

I took 1 bottle of nail polish in my hand luggage in the clear plastic bag with my liquids etc.

I had no problem that was last august with jet2 and first choice.
