Pre designed tips

Hi everyone,
Ive just purchased some pre designed tips. If i want to put gel on them i obviously have to etch the tops of the nails for the product to stick is this right? Also if i put a bonder on the nails will it ruin the designs at all?

To answer your question, yes you do have to buff lightly and don't put bonder/primer on the tip, there is no need to.
