pregnancy and gel nails

:irked: could anyone please remind me why you cant put gel nails on a pregnant woman? I dont remember from my training or the encylepidia of nails by jacqui jefford. where can i find out about it. some one mentioned this today and its got me really puzzzzzzzzzlllllllleeeeeeed!

I wasn't aware there was any reason why a pregnant woman cannot have enhancements..be it gel, or any other system. My understanding is that it is perfectly safe?

You can put gel nails on pregnant women

Hi Guys

From what i know it is perfectly safe to apply gel nails the only reason they ask the question is to do with lifting issues that may happen as the pregnancy progresses. This can be due to hormone changes in the body and sometimes the gel nails just pop off.
