Prepig and strawberry hair?

Do I need to pre-pigment the hair if I've to bleach it before treatment to make it strawberry blonde? Don't want to risk it turning green lol

on its own, bleach should not make the hair green; and would remove the pigments. What could make hair green is bleach to yellow and then go to the swimming pool or add purely blue pigments rather than violet. (blue + yellow = green)
