Pretty in Pink

Hello gang!

I have a client who comes to me who's recovering from chemo and radiotherapy. She belongs to a centre near me that provides information and activities for people in remission.
Anyway, I was chatting to her a I was doing her monthly Spa Manicure about this and she was telling me how it was a charity run centre. I asked her if we, the salon and her, could do a fund raising day. Yes it would be great came the reply.

I asked the salon owner and she's up for it. Got people donating various things.

Right, let me get to the point here!

We're all going to dress in pink for the day..... wigs, make-up etc.

HAS ANYONE GOT A PINK TUNIC AND TROUSERS I COULD BORROW?​

I will only be wearing them for one day and will wash and iron them before returning. We haven't set a date for the day yet as I need to talk to the client first. If you can help me can you PM me please? Size: 12/14

I have a size 10 pink tunic, it does have a few marks on it that wont wash out but it doest look bad, you are welcome to borrow that if that's any good to you :hug:

Do you really need to be wearing uniforms on the day?

You could go to primark or matalan etc. checkout the 'sale rail' and kit everyone out in the same tops.

At new year, me and 2 friends went to a fancy dress party as 'the girls from the Sheila's wheels' advert.

Pink wigs from Matalan ( alittle behive backcombing ) and pink summery tops £1 primark, pink tights £2 asda, great fun! feather boa's.


Anyway, how are you going to run the day?

Oh thats a good idea!! Will tell the girls at the next staff meeting!
Running the day.........well we have many raffle prizes so will be selling tickets for that.
Gonna get the local paper involved.
Got my Mum cooking pink cookies.
It's just a normal day in the salon with bits going on.
If anyone has any idea's of other things we can do that would be great!!
