Price lists! What do you charge?

I thought this would make an interesting thread as I recently saw a few threads about going mobile. I thought it would be interesting to see what people charge as sometimes we do undersell ourselves!

When I used to do mobile

I used to charge

Cut and finish 25 just trim that's it

And 30 re style and finish

Full head colour 45 with finish

Full head highlights with finish 45

Roots 30 include finish


I think I should charge more for full head colour as I spend more money on colours as a full head I use like2 tubes and full head highlights half tube

Yeah I guess it's depends where u live
But once I'm good like u I'm moving to London and charging what I deserve lol

I live in Belfast , and charge basically what salons in my area charge.. I'm hairdressing 15yrs and have a big clientele so no need to charge more.. I'm happy with what I make.. Although if I lived in London would def be charging more

Been mobile for a quite a few years now, in a fairly wealthy area of west Sussex and don't seem to have my prices complained about as they appreciate I'm cheaper than all local salons & in the middle range for the few mobile stylists around. A few price examples are -

Cut & blow dry £26
Re style and blow dry £32
Wet cut £16
Men's cut £10
Full head hi lights £40 (no finish)
Half head hi lights £28 (no finish)

General rules are extra £5 for much longer or thicker hair and I always offer a discount if they double up(friend or relative have theirs done at the same time) Also, i have a free 10 mile travel radius, outside of that a mileage fee applies.
It works really well for me and have a nice variety of happy clients.
