I am a new Nail Tech - I have been practising on friends and family and I occassionally get a couple of problems with my nail enhancements.....

1. Little white spots appear when I am filing and I dont seem to be able to get rid of them and...

2. Little bubbles in the product on the nails

Anybody give me some advice please

thank you

My guess is that because you are making nails with bubbles in, when you start the filing process you are nipping the heads of the bubbles and creating a little hole so to speak, which shows up in the filing dust like a small white spot. If you continue to file they will go at some point, but in the process you are going to have uneven nails as you filed so much away in one area.
So you need to get your bead mix better, try not to work too wet. You need a bead that bounces back a bit once placed on the nail, also try pushing the bead where you want it rather than patting it as this will cause bubbles.

when I was doing my training I was taught to "burp" my brush, as in push my brush into the bottom of the dappen to take out any air that was in the brush, especially when when you are using it for the first time that day, when you do this you can see the bubbles rising to the top ( hope I am explaining myself ok lol ) maybe trying this might help as well, hth x
