Hi I have a new client who wants me to do a set of overlays today (i use bio sculpture) but she already has gel on which she said were filed off last time. Im guessing that they may be a buff off gel. Can anyone tell me whether these can be soaked off or would they have to be buffed.
Thanks
Sue

I use Brisa which is a buff off Gel when removing it I just buff until there is a thin layer left on the nail plate, what you can do as you are applying a new set is get to the thin layer stage then to prevent any damage by over filing soak that layer off.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but am I right in understanding that if the layer is really thin a buff off gel can be soaked off? I use OPI Axxium and always thought that you can't soak buff off gels off?

Yes, you can soak off the last thin layer of a buff-off gel if you have buffed it thin enough.
