I was just wondering how you go about teaching the anatomy of the nail.
I have sometimes found it difficult to explain to students the eponychium and cuticle when their text books are telling them something different. It's extra difficult when they have different lecturers who tell them the eponychium is the cuticle. I don't want to undermine my colleagues but equally want my students to have the correct up to date knowledge. And why do all beauty books call the cuticle living tissue! It just makes life a whole lot more difficult trying to explain to students when the text books don't back you up. :irked:
