sounds like a 'pocket lift' only way to get rid im afraid is to file the lot off and start again mate

by the way...if its not on any of the others you probably just either...

- missed putting a bit of bonder on that bit
- didnt quite scrub that first layer in too well on that bit
- could have had a bit of dust or something on that bit 'under' the bonder
- er.....cant think of anything else is it excessively long?

have you got a picture?

is that bit of your nail thin/red at all...??

I know if a nail is damaged in this way it effects the adhesion of the gel.

i have extremly thin nails due to all the experimenting i have done over the years and was wondering if this could be the reason

i will take in to consideration what you have both said though

any tips when it comes to applying gel amber and angie????

as i know you both work with it

ps nail is not damaged just verrrrrrrrrrrry thin lol xxx

apply THIN layers (you dont have to stick to the text book 2 layers ) and make sure you FULLY cure with the correct lamp.

Is it brisa your applying?

no hunnie i received a sample sometime ago from nsi

it is a brisa lamp though

i have just filed entire nail of and found it was my nail that was lifting from the nail bed ;-(
like i said i have extra thin nail beds

is there a custom blend gel ??????

SHIKES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they were TOO THIN a file off gel isnt going to be the right thing to wear!

You may have got away with a soak off (because its more flexible )but i fear now you'll have to 'go naked' for a bit till it recovers - hopefully the others wont go the same way.

WHEN it recovers akzentz do a nice 'warm coverage pink' or...if you have a pink and some white you could mix your own - sometimes it goes a bit 'bubblegummy' though so trial and error really.

omg thats sounds painful.i use nsi aswell and i made my own coverage gel using builder radiant pink and brush on white theres pictures of this in my album (its the big nail pictures).i cracked my real nail so i did this to cover it up and it worked but it is just trial and error as i dont know if i would be able to do it again as i didnt keep track of the ratio.how stupid am i,lol.

what looks weird to me is that you only noticed it this morning whereas you did your nails yesterday.

you must of hit your nail or something.

what I would do if I were you if desinfect well the little gap, it may hurt, and I would put some product, l&p, on. but clear on the gap, to be able to look at it. you can still polish it if needed to hide, but with the clear you will be able to see if something gets in.

if ever something goes wrong, keep with you a bottle of an anti inflamation and soak your nail if needed.

IF it's a big gap, I would cut the free edge really short, and replace my set. I happened to break some nails of mine and would disinfect then cover with l&p... hurts a bit, but then I was fine and could re use my finger.
