Ran out of sticky feet pads, what else can I use?

hi geeks,
hope everyone is well just wanted to know what else can i use as ive ran out of sticky feet pads.....a towel or couch roll which is the best ???
also im using sienna x does anyone find a better solution which is cheaper as well as good colour thanks xx

put a dark towel in front of the cubicle then use a little oil free moisturiser on the bottom of the feet apply the moisturiser on a chair close to the towel as you dont want the client skating on ice if your on a hard floor !!
place two pieces of couch roll on the cubicle floor get the client to stand on the couch roll, it will stick to the feet and they can slide around on the base of the cubicle during application we dont use sticky feet as they are very hard to get off the glue sometimes sticks to the feet and takes your shoe linings with it !! and in my opinion there a waste of money but that is just my opinion :lick:
if you want sticky feet then you can get them very cheaply from ellisons i did hear that you could get 200 pairs for 17 quid

Thanks for the advice steve....I'll take note of this, I've heard alot about nouvatan so i think im going to try out the solution this week as im busy using sienna x & havnt tried anything else yet !!!
Is there any more advice you could give me as im due to start up at the end of this month & not sure i knoe enough, Would be very grateful thanks Michelle

i had sienna x in about 1 year ago , but to be honest it wasnt my cup of tea so i went to Xen Tan and havnt looked back since I LOVE THEM!!! and i feel happy to promote it to my clients because its worth the rave.

Great tip for the alternative to the sticky feet , I'm going to try that , Thanks

I dont use sticky feet I use the same method as Steve, much easier and cheaper!!

I've been sprayed with Xen Tan and liked it but when I sprayed the sample on a customer they werent very happy, I had ordered some and 3 weeks later it hadnt arrived and the customer service wasnt good! So I ended up cancelling the order as they were loosing me business!!! It's a shame as I really liked it on me. How do manage when people want to be darker though as its more one colour for all isnt it?

ohhh dear , u didnt get off to a good start then , i normally get mine within 2 days :sad:
Well with the xen tan it develops to your own natural skin colour and to be honest pretty much all my clients like a more natural looking tan , iv got to say im quite fair and i go quite dark off it but i do spray all my clients twice,(altho xen tan say once) i have the odd few clients who come weekly for weekends out and they normally still have the tan on from last time and it just builds up the colour , i have to say it really works for me

Yes my friend uses it and loves it. It just really put me off when it took so long to come through and the customer service team were just awful when I said I wanted to cancel!

I went with LA Tan but I'm not happy with the double dipping of it my customers think that their tan is washing off when all the colour guide comes off!!! They are also saying that it isnt lasting well. So I am currently trying other samples, I've already done Suntana and Tantrick and both have been great! Still got Sienna X to go!! It's going to be tough! I'm going to keep a bottle of LA Disco though as I do have customers who like really dark tans!!! I think it's comming from Essex lol!!

I tryed the alternative to the sticky feet today, im so glad i read this its a great idea and so much easier ..

yeah hun thats terrible it didnt come , what did the say the reason for the delay was ? the second time i ordered from they they never invoiced me , and i emailed them and rang to get it sent out , they said they had but i never got it , eventually nearly a year later i got it sent through in an email so i was a bit peeved about that cos all i did was chase but touch wood iv ordered a few times since and they have been alright

iv tryed vani - T liquid sun , and i thought that was a lovely colour , its a nightmare looking for the right one isnt it , its like fake bake i like the colour but it doesnt last 2minutes on me , and people rave on about it but im not too keen.
The sienna was dark but it was too make upy for me , and i felt as tho you couldnt spray males cos of that glimmer but also when iv had it done it comes off all skaley not good!

But i suppose it might be a good idea to have 2 ranges in to cover all types of clients , cos some like tans really dark dont they? , another thing to think about in the future! lol
