Rebalance & infills?

Are they the same thing? I know that a backfil is moving the smile into the correct place.
Im just doing my price list and we got taught at college it goes - Full set - infills - backfill. Is rebalance just the posh word for infills?

Infills is when you are just replacing the growth in zone 3 and a rebalance is when you are replacing the grown out smile lines and making sure all zones are balanced out again. hth

A rebalance is when you are rebalancing the whole shape of the nail ie; moving the apex, replacing the white and smoothing zone 3.

A infill would be done if the client has a one colour overlay and doesn't have a lot of growth.

To be honest I have never done a infill I only do rebalances my prices are £20 for 2 weeks, £25 for 3 then the price of a full set for any longer.

Its a good idea. I always charge the same price if the clients comes in 3 week, or 5or6. But thats great that charge more for long therm. Also for the clients, and also for me. Thanks for the hint.

I generally do (depending on what clients nails are like and how much they've grown) an infill after two weeks (replacing zone 3 which has grown out) then after 4 weeks I do a rebalance, which I thin the product out, replace smile line, apex and zone 3. Hth xx

Backfill is a strange name........... I do re-fills n re-whites tho I much prefer rebalance n french rebalance tho its all maintenance at the end of the day

Backfill is a pretty common term where I live. I like the way french rebalance sounds, I think I'll go with that.
