I saw an older thread from 2007 regarding this, sorry if there is a new thread for it let me know I only joined salon geek today. Ok so I have spent so much money buying different brands because I like free from polishes. My business is more natural based.
However I have just found out after paying trade prices for Orly that it can now be purchased in Superdrug. Which I'm obviously not happy about.
Not sure when this happened? :/
Anyway I have used zoya (have a few bottles) and I really don't like the way it applies to runny and thick for my liking lovely colours though.

Are there any polishes I can use that clients can't buy on the bough street now? Is Morgan Taylor still trade exclusive?

I was thinking CND vinylux but it's not free from certain chemicals so I'm pretty stuck. However I'm already using shellac so..

Hello! I can’t offer much advice I’m afraid but I’m in a similar situation. We use natural based product too, and have always used propolish as it’s a fabulous long lasting nail polish but it’s been discontinued and so we need a replacement!

Would be very interested to know what other people use, that can’t be bought on the high street and is long lasting/hard wearing, as normal polishes go!!

Hope you find something soon xx

I had some spa ritual but I'm not a fan personally .
I've used butter London I have a huuuuge collection but the brushes are too thin. Not good for salon type use.
Zoya I've got a good few bottles of that but it's very runny and hard to put on in thin layers so takes forever to dry.
I've got nailberry and thoss are vegan as well and free from as most the other aforementioned, but again the brush it's really long and thin. Stays on well though.
I've used peel off as well but hey it's peel off so no point.
Think I'll research a bit more into Morgan Taylor .
If anyone else has any thoughts..
What I wanna know is why my local wholesaler still sells orly at wholesale price , I'm gonna go in and tell them.
Many thanks for your replies hope more come my way :)
Xxx
